A sample from a portfolio of paintings I’ve been working on. From memory, imagination and photos, my paintings are informed by my travels and small quiet moments, at home and elsewhere. Nothing is ever as it seems, in this day and age. Meanings can be construed by what we are conditioned to believe in. Through my re-envisioning of memory, I hope to retain what was once lost, in an effort to restore what was always true. This can be as simple as merely being, reclaiming moments of time that are forever buried by our rush to stay a part of this world.
